We are currently looking for a **Remote Tech Support Administrator** **(M/F/x) **to join our team in Manchester, UK.

You will join a successful team of Remote Technical Support Engineers and Scheduling Coordinators delivering day-to-day support services for Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers.

**About the job**:
Your primary role will be to support the UK-based Remote Engineers and Scheduling teams through the implementation of a new, groundbreaking customer communication/ticket logging system.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a world-class organisation as part of a high-profile project. As a rapidly growing company there are ongoing opportunities to develop into a variety of permanent roles/positions.

You may also get the opportunity to travel to mainland Europe to support the wider implementation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn current support processes and tools (SAP based) for communication/ticket management
- Perform testing of the new Customer Communication/Ticket Management (SAP based) tools
- Become “the expert” in the new tools, learn how the current processes need to adapt
- Help train the support staff in the pilot country (UK)
- Provide “on-the fly” support during the pilot phase
- Collaborate closely directly with customers when required.
- Feedback status updates (challenges, successes, change requests etc) to the project team
- Support the subsequent roll-out in Europe (training and post go-live) - likely to require some travel

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master graduate in Chemistry, Life Science or Project Management based field.
- Experience of operating in a laboratory and/or project management capacity desirable.
- Superb communication and people skills - able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work as part of a multicultural, cross-country team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- The ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively.
- A strong valuation of processes and the ability to follow them accordingly with good attention to detail
- The ability to set customer expectations and balance customer requirements with Agilent's business needs
