- The post holder will have strong on and offline marketing experience having worked in either an integrated marketing function or agency previously. They will have excellent marketing planning, communication, organisational and evaluation skills and develop trusted relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders, to include senior academics, agencies, suppliers and an in-house design team.
- The varied nature of this role means the post holder must possess the ability to work on multiple and varied projects simultaneously and have a can-do attitude. The ability to write well, with accuracy and attention to detail, and, most importantly to think creatively is also essential.

Undertake a range of marketing activities to support WBS’ student marketing and recruitment strategy, leading on campaign implementation and undertaking elements of market research.
- **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Marketing**
- Project manage the implementation of marketing campaigns, liaising with agencies and colleagues across WBS, ensuring that communications are on message, appropriate channels are chosen and schedules, deadlines and budgets are met.
- Undertake market research to gain a better understanding of the University’s markets, which could include designing and implementing surveys and focus groups. Analyse those results and make recommendations.

**Communication**
- Lead the implementation and management of print and online digital and social) advertising campaigns to support University marketing objectives, co-ordinating with colleagues and managing liaison with the media buying agency and other external stakeholders; this will include making decisions about landing pages, spend and enquiry capture mechanisms.
- Support project work such as brand development and roll-out, or the production of the brochures (UG, PGT, MBA, PhD, DBA or Executive Education); contributing marketing expertise such as proof reading and copywriting.
- Build relationships with student ambassadors to plan, develop and co-ordinate innovative and timely student generated content (e.g. vlogs, blogs and Instagram takeovers)
- Support the recruitment team with promoting attraction events (Open Days, Fairs and Webinars)
- Collaborate with press /PR to optimise coverage and support media and PR campaigns.
- Evaluate outcomes of marketing campaigns and report back trends and ROI metrics to managers
- Any other activities that support the Schools marketing strategy.
