**About Railsbank**
Railsbank is the world’s leading global embedded finance experience platform that gives customers the ability to prototype, build, and scale financial products globally with one contract and one set of APIs.
Railsbank is in growth mode with hundreds of clients globally, end-users in the multi millions, Venture Capital funding from top firms like Clocktower Ventures and Visa and the most globally-enabled, digitally-native product in the FinTech platform space.
Railsbank is continuing to grow its product capabilities and international expansion and we are also looking to expand our sales footprint into wider economies. We have identified some very exciting sectors where we have already started to gain traction and are therefore looking to grow the Sales Team. It’s an extremely exciting time and the potential for companies to use Railsbank to power and deliver their customer’s financial experiences is enormous.
**The Role**:
As the SDR Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring your team is highly performing at its two main objectives - prospecting and identifying new customers for Railsbank. The SDR Team and yourself will work with the sales team to help prospects understand the value of Railsbank, identify qualified prospects and support that prospect’s journey through the process towards being a successful Railsbank customer.
We are continuing to build our team with people that have a “whatever it takes,” attitude, a high sense of urgency, and a passion for sales. As the leader of a team, you must embody all of these qualities.
As a SDR Team Lead at Railsbank, you will have the opportunity to help create and improve processes and build the sales pipeline. This is an opportunity to further your sales career at one of Europe’s most successful fintechs.
**Responsibilities**:
Lead and help to build a team of SDRs in the UK & Europe who can contact startups, scaleups, brands and established financial services providers to demonstrate Railsbank’s unique value.
The SDR team has first and foremost a hunter role and they must be actively prospecting new business opportunities for Railsbank with prospects that are launching or scaling products that incorporate bank accounts, sending money, receiving money or issuing cards and credit.
Where required, conduct in-depth research to identify prospects.
Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position Railsbank as a compelling solution.
Ensure that prospects passed to the sales team are well qualified opportunities.
Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM system.
Provide feedback across Railsbank related to information prospects share that could be helpful in advertising, marketing and product roadmap.
**What we look for in your professional skills**
You must have excellent communication skills (across all media) and possess the ability to ‘get things done’ in a flexible dynamic organisation. Your communication skills must work inside and outside of Railsbank.
Able to work effectively, quickly and with a high level of accuracy in a fast-moving and rapidly changing environment.
Either a graduate with a 2:1 or above, you already have 2-3 years experience in a phone sales role as part of a SaaS or B2B company.
Tenacity and discipline to follow up with passion and respect.
Very high level of professionalism dealing with prospects and Railsbank team members.
A self-starter that thrives when given a clean sheet of paper and a target to hit.
A fascination with startups, fintech and/or financial services.
A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks.
A desire to learn, grow, and be part of a fast-growing startup while launching/building your career in sales.
**What we look for in our team members and our values**
Being an integral part of the Railsbank team and sharing our values is important to us.
The environment at Railsbank is fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic. It suits people that love to collaborate and support one-another.
We are all driven by the same values and are looking to welcome new people to the team that share these values.
