**Job Purpose**:
The Patient Care Coordinator/Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This role involves managing day-to-day patient interactions, coordinating clinician schedules, and handling administrative tasks efficiently. The purpose is to deliver exceptional patient care by providing a welcoming environment and organized support for the clinical team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage patient appointments, coordinating multiple clinicians’ schedules.
- Handle patient communications regarding appointments, treatments, and general inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Organize practice meetings and manage event planning where necessary.
- Maintain office supplies and handle mail, packages, and other deliveries.
- Ensure the confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support the practice.

**Accountability**:

- Ensure the efficient and smooth running of front-office operations and patient coordination.
- Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
- Accurately manage appointments, maintaining clinicians’ schedules without errors.
- Ensure that patient records and sensitive information are handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with practice policies.
- Keep the office well-organized and stocked with necessary supplies, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Support team collaboration and help create a positive working environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care and service.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is advantageous but not required.

Pay: £27,567.00-£29,063.00 per year
