As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Director and help streamline our operations.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Management:

- Maintain an organised and efficient office environment.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

2. Administrative Support:

- Assist the Director with daily administrative tasks.
- Manage the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and filing systems.

3. Customer Service:

- Act as the first point of contact for clients and partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

4. Logistics Coordination:

- Assist in the planning and coordination of vehicle transport and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor and track vehicle movements and update relevant databases.

5. Financial Administration:

- Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Help prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.

6. Project Support:

- Provide support for various projects and initiatives as directed by the Director.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist with decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanour and a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience in the logistics or transport industry is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position.
- Standard office hours with occasional overtime as needed.

Pay: From £39,487.50 per year

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (required)
