Engineering Change Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and passionate individual to join us in the capacity of Engineering Change Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term basis, in order to cover for a period of maternity leave.

**Responsibilities include**:
- Working cross-departmentally to coordinate the product change management system, ensuring the product technical design enhancements are implemented
- Managing and maintaining part information throughout the lifecycle phase (including Bill of Materials -BOM), providing support for the relevant IT systems used during the manufacturing process. Maintains a database of requested changes to engineering drawings, specifications, BOM’s and design control elements.
- Develops detailed engineering change packages based on the review of various required inputs
- Performing impact analysis to establish all customers, parts and approvals required
- Cleansing and management of current data held within relevant information systems
- Working closely with Group IT to ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols.
**Our perfect Engineering Change Coordinator would have**:
- A strong understanding of engineering change management principles with the proven ability to read blueprints, experience with BOM structures and ECO’s. Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment would prove advantageous
- Working knowledge of various information systems (ERP/MES) together with MS Office 365, MS Excel and Business Intelligence software is essential. Knowledge of engineering tools and methods; both hardware and software (desirable)
- The proven ability to deliver value added results and make informed decisions; manages tasks from concept to completion
- A creative thinker with the ability to positively manage complex challenges
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- The ability to provide a pragmatic and responsive service
- The ability to operate and thrive within a fast paced environment whilst working well under pressure
**Qualifications**
Educated to Degree level within a relevant field or proven experience within a similar role

**The hours you would work**
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.15pm. Friday, 7.30am-12.30pm
