HR Advisor, Warrington, Salary £36k + Excellent Benefits Package including flexible and hybrid working. My client is looking for an experienced HR professional to join their busy fast paced team. You will need: - You must have 2 years HR Advisory experience within a UK workplace dealing with probation's, sickness, maternity/paternity cases as well as conduct investigations - Ideally they will have progressed into a HR advisor role from a HR Administration role. - CIPD level 5 or higher - Must be good with paperwork. This is a role which requires lots of form filling, keeping trackers and following complex admin processes. - Must be confident and assertive. Used to advising even senior managers. - Will likely need a car and to drive as the Warrington office doesn't have good transport links. The Warrington office is well serviced. There is free car parking. There is always a selection of fresh fruit and a range of hot beverages, dairy and plant-based milks available to staff. Occasionally breakfasts and cakes are offered during briefings and events.There is a social calendar, which may be of interest. This role offers a hybrid working model. There is an expectation the HR Advisor would typically be in the office (or on location elsewhere in the business as needs require) three days per week with the opportunity to work from home on a balanced hybrid basis. The Role: The HR Advisor reports into the HR Business Partner responsible for 3 business units for a headcount of approximately 800 employees. The role is predominantly involved in actioning changes required to employee contracts or employee data, which requires completingpaperwork, requesting approvals and instructing colleagues in India and Edinburgh via an internal help desk system. The role is also focused on answering employee queries about their employment, company policy, team performance, capability and well being. The role is responsible for managing sickness, parental leave, overtime and special leave arrangements as well as handling ad hoc general queries from the business. The HR Advisor occasionally delivers briefings or training to the business. This role will alsobe expected to lead on standard capability and conduct investigations and with the support of the HR Business Partner handle more complex grievance, misconduct and welfare matters as they arise. Generally, the role involves talking a lot to employees and line managers, using standard templates to send correspondence, ensuring employee changes are documented and files maintained in employee folders. The role is a busy one, keeping on top of day-to-day problems and acting as the HR "Go to" for the business while assisting the HR Business Partner to deliver the strategic agenda. There is a pressing need to work to payroll deadlines and ensure matters arehandled quickly and efficiently. There are a lso a lot of gaps in the processes and the HR Advisors will continuously contribute to improvement and betterment of the HR way of operating.
