Job title: HR Advisor
**Salary**: £30,000k
Hours: Permanent position, Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week. 8.30-5pm
Location: Warrington
Duties & Responsibilities
Working closely with the HR Manager and 2 HR Administrators providing support for 220 staff over 5 sites, occasional travel will be required to go to different sites, so a driving licence is essential.
- Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business.
- Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
- Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants
- Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Dealing with PDR reviews for staff
- Acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
- Participate in the health & safety committee meetings and support H&S processes
- Handle all HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
- Administer the new starter process and ensure all processes are adhered to including right to work in the UK, references and DBS
- Maintain all employee files, HR systems & organisation charts; including updating our internal database with new employee information, in line with relevant legislation such as the General Data Protection Regulation
- Manage employee relations including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances etc
**Skills**:
- Proven work experience as an HR advisor or in a similar role (Preferable 3+ years experience within the HR department)
- Ideally CIPD level 5 or working towards
- Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems
- Driven and determined
- Organisational and administrative skills
- Be quick at problem solving
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems
