Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. This role involves developing and implementing engaging social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and foster positive public relations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in social media management and have a passion for connecting with audiences across various platforms. Duties

  • Develop, plan, and execute innovative social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and posting to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, responding promptly to comments, messages, and reviews.
  • Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and optimise future content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with overall branding and promotional objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging social media tools to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital engagement.
  • Foster positive public relations by managing online reputation and engaging with community stakeholders effectively.

Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices in online communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for compelling storytelling.
  • Ability to analyse data insights from social media analytics tools to inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is desirable.
  • Prior experience working with diverse audiences across multiple platforms is preferred but not essential. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to make a significant impact through innovative social media strategies while developing their professional portfolio within a supportive environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
