Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar & Restaurant Staff to join our team. As a key member of our establishment, you will provide exceptional service to our patrons while creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a desire to deliver an outstanding experience for every guest.

Duties

  • Meeting & greeting guests who arrive in the bar & restaurant.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks and hot drinks.
  • Seating guests in the restaurant, taking orders for drinks & food.
  • Serving food to tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar & restaurant areas, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and in good working order.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling the bar & restaurant areas for events or busy periods.
  • Monitor customer behaviour to ensure compliance with licensing laws and promote responsible drinking.
  • Working with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A good understanding of drink preparation techniques and cocktail mixing is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to licensing regulations.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential attributes.
  • This role will require working evenings and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
