24-30 Hours a week

We are currently looking to expand our team and are looking for a Food, Beverage & Events Assistant to join us at our cafe and events operation in the centre of Blackburn This role is permanent part time and is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering top-notch service to our customers.

As a Food, Beverage & Events Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, barista duties serving food and beverages, restocking supplies, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of events. A friendly demeanor, strong work ethic, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction are essential for success in this role. This is a varied role and will include some event work. Weekend availability is required as well as some weekdays.Some evening work will also be required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and has a positive attitude. Previous experience working in a hospitality environment is required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing top-notch service
  • Reliable and punctual

  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
