Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry to develop their skills within a vibrant environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus in a courteous manner
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation
  • Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, chairs, and condiments
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues swiftly
  • Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or requests promptly

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
  • Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is beneficial
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance the dining experience
  • Good organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and well-stocked
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
