We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality control standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as required.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
