Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Support barista duties if required, preparing coffee and other beverages to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Experience in catering or serving roles will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills, including barista experience if applicable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.58 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
