Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage client relationships within the UK and European marine service industry.
- Identify market opportunities and support sales strategies to expand the company's service network.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks in the marine services sector.
- Oversee customer accounts and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of marine services.
- Coordinate with suppliers, shipyards, and logistics partners across Asian and European ports.
- Communicate effectively with the overseas parent company in China to align strategies, share market intelligence, and support project execution.
- Prepare sales reports, proposals, and recommendations for senior management.
- Support urgent client projects with rapid response and resource coordination.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff to strengthen sales and account management capacity.
Skill, experience and qualification required
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the marine, offshore, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and European marine and offshore markets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, to coordinate daily with the overseas parent company in China and suppliers across Asia.
- In-depth understanding of cross-border business practices and Chinese business culture, essential for managing international operations.

Pay: £55,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
