Are you a friendly, organised, and proactive person who loves keeping things running smoothly? Aldeburgh Town Council is looking for an Office Administrator to become an essential part of our small, welcoming team based in the historic Moot Hall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, councillors, and visitors — handling enquiries in person, over the phone, and by email. You'll help support the smooth running of Council meetings and community events, keep our records and websites up to date, and make sure everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has great attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Can manage their workload efficiently and stay calm under pressure
- Is confident using Microsoft Office (and ideally familiar with Canva)
- Brings enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive "can-do" attitude
