The Operations Officers will join us at an exciting time as we embark on the delivery of a new Further Education focused project and will form part of a brand-new project team to support the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) in broadening its reach to young people in Further Education (FE) Colleges, including those from marginalised backgrounds.
?What you will this position involve?
Developing relationships with non-delivering FE Colleges and support them to become new Licensed Organisations (LOs).
Support the operational delivery and development of the DofE across a portfolio of Further Education Colleges to broaden their reach and develop quality programmes.
Supporting Further Education College LOs to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.
Working as part of a Further Education focused project team to achieve objectives and supporting national strategic goals, including piloting new delivery models specific to FE.
Involved in meetings, across your portfolio area, with a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels within organisations.
What we are we looking for?
Experience of working in Further Education, specifically in delivering personal development and enrichment opportunities to young people.
Passionate about the development of young people and an enthusiastic and authentic ambassador for the DofE.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders both internally and externally.
Excellent administration, planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
