Believe in people.The roleThe main purpose of this role is to provide day to day contractual, administrative, and operational support to the Estate Services Teams and to provide day to day support to the Quality and Standards Manager, Contracts and Standards Managers in delivering the Estate Services operations.This role is part of Property where you'll help us to lead the way investing and maintaining 46,000 homes.What you'll achieveCustomer liaison and a high degree of customer care will be required along with an ability to deal with high volumes of enquiriesTo provide support & assistance to the Estates Team to contribute to the delivery of achieving our Estate StandardsTo lead on the collation of the relevant estate services data for performance management of internal and external contractorsWork with the Quality and Standards Manager, Group In-House Team Leaders and Contracts and Standards Managers to ensure that all contractor and service providers receive payment for completed servicesProvide coordination/administration for the process of financial variations to Estates contracts. This will involve maintaining payment schedules that generate purchase orders and assisting with a quarterly reconciliation process, which the Estates Contract and Standards Managers will lead with Estate Services ContractorsAssist the National Estates Lead and Quality and Standards Manager in the operation of the Contractor Web Portal and any other IT development which maybe implementedProvide coordination/administration for the process of payments through ActiveH or any other IT payment facility that maybe implementedMonitor and update KPI compliance for Estate Services within the Performance Management Framework for Property OperationsWorking with customers and stakeholders to successfully resolve service delivery queries and/or complaints with the ability to escalation to Contract Standards Managers, as necessaryAssist the Quality and Standards Manager in the auditing and reporting of task management and quality monitoring of the estates service.What you'll bringEssential skillsExperience in coordinating estate related functions in Social Housing or multi-disciplinary environmentsA solid understanding of the Microsoft Office packagesThe ability to prioritise and multitaskFinancial awareness and accuracy of relevant data sets including service charge apportionment etcExperience of working under KPI related pressure and delivering quality work to tight deadlinesDesirable skillsAny relevant NVQ or other similar qualification - e.g. in Customer Service, word processing, RSA II or equivalent Business AdministrationA good understanding of Microsoft DynamicsRelevant public or commercial sector experience working in the estate services / housing industryWhy Orbit?Choosing us means being rewarded in every sense.Here's what you can expect to enjoy with us.A rewarding experience that works for youWe strive to create an inclusive experience with benefits and wellbeing programmes designed to help you, and your loved ones, to thrive.
