This role is to provide procurement expertise and assistance to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain (Estates) to ensure effective supplier management and sourcing of services and materials to meet a high demand for the supply of stock and non-stock materials, to conduct low value tenders and assist the Category managers in conducting tenders for Estates categories. The Estates Procurement team delivers end to end procurement for the Estates department and manages the following categories: Estates Works and Consultancy, Estates Maintenance and Supplies, Estates Services, Transport, Utilities, FF&E. About You We are looking for a proactive and self‑motivated individual to work as a Procurement Coordinator, as part of the Procurement team which supports the Estates Office operation. To be successful in this role, we are looking for somebody who is able to demonstrate: Previous HE or Commercial experience, preferably in a varied and busy procurement environment. Excellent attention to details and communications skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Good team player. Good numeracy, statistical and ratio analysis skills. The role is campus based however staff can opt to work under the Finance Office’s current hybrid policy where a maximum of 40% of time (2 days per week for full‑time staff, typically Tuesday and Friday) can be worked remotely.
