Business Development Executive

Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for all new business enquiries, ensuring timely, professional responses. Lead discovery calls to understand client needs and assess opportunity fit. Manage the sales process for smaller opportunities from enquiry to contract signing. Support and execute lead generation strategies across multiple channels. Build prospect lists and run outreach campaigns using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Pipedrive) and support regular sales forecasting. Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients. Collaborate with colleagues across the marketing, delivery and leadership teams to shape proposals and pitch responses. Qualifications 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with potential for extension or permanence. 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in a digital agency or similar. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, written and verbal. Proven experience turning leads into opportunities and supporting them through to close. Solid understanding of digital services such as web development, SEO, PPC or social media (preferred). Comfortable working with CRM tools (Pipedrive preferred) and managing sales pipelines. Confident using LinkedIn and other tools for outreach and lead nurturing. Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple opportunities at once.
