Key Responsibilities / Areas of Accountability: Managing inbound and outbound shipments (air, sea and truck) through accurate preparation of documentation in compliance with the applicable laws. This includes track, trace and data maintenance of all orders. Maintaining daily liaison with customers, vendors, GSC team, Customs team and carriers to ensure continuity of in/out bound shipments. Audit and verify all freight invoices for air, sea and truck. Discuss any invoices with discrepancies with Department Manager. Resolve all transportation, distribution and delivery related issues in a manner that minimizes financial exposure to the Company. Recommending new policies and procedures as required to improve efficiencies. Ensuring optimum service levels for internal and external customers. Work with the warehouse and other teams to provide economical and timely shipments to our customers. Prepare and/or review invoices, customs and free trade agreement documents, manifests, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and any other required documents. Coordinate direct shipments from suppliers to customers (cross trade, domestic and international). Prepare all necessary shipping documentation for shipments containing hazardous materials. Coordinating trade‑show related movements as and when necessary. Purchase and Sales order management with project engineers. Support Sourcing and Customs teams as and when needed. Any other duties assigned by department team leader. Technical / Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational and time‑management skills with great attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of applicable international shipping regulations. Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Baan, Business Objects. Qualifications / Experience: College diploma preferably with a logistics background or equivalent work experience. CIFFA, CITT and / or CCS certificate preferred. 2 years logistics experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
