Sales and Logistics Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Sales and Logistics Coordinator. You will be required to provide an accurate and efficient first point of contact sales service, offering advice to customers regarding all aspects of the Company’s metals and associated products. Upselling as and when appropriate, whilst always ensuring customer service is a top priority. Additionally, you will provide efficient support to the logistics team to manage customer deliveries and equipment hire.
**Responsibilities**
- Process product, off-shelf coils, and basic recoiling orders.
- Check all order processing using the training document, and electronically file.
- Be on-hand to produce Delivery Notes for orders ready for packing.
- Complete Works Orders for relevant product and recoiling orders.
- Support the Logistics Manager.
- Contact customers regarding deliveries, book deliveries on the booking portal, and track delivery to ensure it has been received.
- Handle imports and exports where required.
- Take ownership of the Kalzip account and report to Logistics Manager.
- Provide ad-hoc support for the online shop.
- Provide holiday cover for sales, online sales or logistics when necessary.
- Carry out other tasks and duties as required and/or directed.
**Skills/Experience**
- Relevant industry experience desirable but not essential
- Microsoft Office experience
- Accuracy and consistency is key to the role, along with the ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Having the drive to learn new skills and systems when required
- A good problem solver
- Being able to build strong working relationships and having the confidence to work with colleagues on all levels
- Telephone Skills
- Import / Export experience desirable
- Proactive and organised
