**Responsibilities**

The logistics clerk is responsible for assisting the warehouse and distribution co-ordinator with key administrative tasks within the warehouse office including helping to maintain an efficient flow of orders into the warehouse which involves inputting shipment details to create consignments onto various transport provider’s portals. This person is also required to assist with any shipment amendments including gathering original paperwork and cancelling and amending consignments. They will be responsible for providing general administrative support to assist other members of the team and as part of a growing warehouse and logistics department, there may be room for adaptation and development of duties. This position is based in the Bolton warehouse office, hours of work are 9am-5pm.

**Core Duties**
- Creating consignments on various carrier portals for warehouse shipments and attaching labels to pick lists.
- Assisting with preparing pick notes for the warehouse.
- Amending consignment labels where required for the warehouse.
- Helping to deal with any amendment requests from sales including retrieving/swapping over paperwork and labels in the warehouse.
- Uploading and filing supplier delivery documentation.
- Filing away office paperwork.
- Providing general office assistance.
- Cover for absences in the logistics/warehouse office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00 per year
