The Strategic Account Executive Opportunity The Strategic team are targeting customers with over 20k employees with the aim of winning notable new logos and upselling them into multi‑million dollar deals. You will be focused on providing value to C‑Suite decision makers helping them to drive the most secure environment possible for their workforce. Responsibilities Own a territory made up of spending Okta customers as well as a heavy lean on cold new logos to hunt and grow. Multithread throughout your customer base ensuring you’re targeting both business and technical audiences and evangelise the value proposition for each. Run every sales cycle with a methodical and controlled MEDDPICC sales approach. Adhere to strong operational excellence with thorough territory planning and accurate forecasting mindset. Holistically embrace, access, and utilise Okta partners to identify and open new, uncharted opportunities. Build and nurture effective working partnerships within your Okta ecosystem (SDRs, Partners, Pre‑Sales, Customer First, etc). Adopt a strong value based sales approach, always looking to bring a compelling point of view to each customer. Travel as necessary to meet customers in person. Qualifications Significant experience selling complex SaaS solutions targeting the largest Enterprise organisations. Proven experience closing large deals over $500k – $1m ARR. Ability to educate and create demand with C‑level decision makers. Strong experience and passion for winning and then growing new logos. Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders from both the customer base and within the internal ecosystem. Experience selling alongside GSI's and partner ecosystem. Technical aptitude and curiosity to learn. Expertise using a Sales Framework such as MEDDICC, Challenger or Sandler.
