Our client is looking for an experienced Housing Officer.

Job Title: Housing Officer
Onsite and across the borough- limited WFH
MOST IMPORTANT BIT: Must have excellent housing knowledge and worked for a local authority
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Services Officer to manage a portfolio of properties and provide frontline housing services. This role is both office-based and customer-facing, ensuring our residents receive exceptional support and service. You will report directly to the Housing Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a designated patch of properties, ensuring effective service delivery.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Support vulnerable individuals, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage a varied caseload.
Adhere to and implement housing policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in the housing sector, preferably with a local authority or registered social landlord.
Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high standards.
Experience in supporting vulnerable clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with housing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Have you supported vulnerable clients in previous roles?
