Key Account Manager - Air and Sea Freight

Location: Southampton, UK

Salary: up to £45,000 (DOE) + 20% Commission + Car

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:30pm

Are you a results driven Freight Account Manager, looking for a new role in Southampton? This role could be right for you.

My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Air and/or Sea Freight.

Package Benefits:

Fantastic Uncapped Commission scheme (20% for the lifetime of the account)
25 days Holiday + 8 banks
Car Allowance/Company Car
Opportunity for growth and development within the company.Key Responsibilities:

To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
To generate and follow up sales leads to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
Manage the day-to-day Air and Sea Freight Forwarding operations, start-to-finish.
Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork.
Supplier and client liaison and negotiation.Requirements:

Freight Forwarding Sales and Account Management Experience.
Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
Experience with Freight Forwarding Operations.
Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
