What will you be doing as a Claims Handler:
Working as part of a team, you will deal with a mixture of commercial and personal lines insurance claims. Duties include:
Reviewing and assessing insurance claims across different products to determine coverage and liability
Acknowledging all new claims to both clients and insurers and keeping clients updated
Investigating and gathering evidence to support claims decisions
Negotiating with claimants, insurers and others to reach settlements
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activities
Mentoring and providing guidance to other claims handlers
Preparing claims reports to be presented by Account Executives on larger cases

Strong experience in claims handling, ideally in a similar commercial Claims Handler role
Exceptional customer care skills
Confident with excellent negotiation skills
Very strong attention to detail
Comfortable with Word, Excel and Outlook
Team player
