External Sales Engineer - Electrical / Automation

Are you a self driven Sales Engineer seeking a new exciting challenge?

Do you have experience in the automation and controls industry?

My client are a leading distributor of electrical control gear, PLC's and Automation products and are looking for a External Sales Engineer in the Midlands.

The Role

Develop new business and provide customers with solutions
Manage own diary and schedule when booking customer appointments
Generate and deliver competitive quotations to customer
Build and maintain close relationships with customers
Study and keep up to date with new market trends and technologyRequirements

Experience in new business development and managing own diary
You will likely to have worked as: BDM, Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or similar selling electrical or automation products
Knowledge of the automation and controls industry
Work well using own initiative and in a team
Perform well under pressure and hit KPI'sPackage

Salary to £45,000 plus commission
25 days annual leave plus blank holidays
