Role:- Health and Social Care Assessor
Location:- North Wales
Salary:- £28,000
The Company
This is an exciting opportunity for that special person looking to make a long-term commitment to join a local specialist training provider offering high quality training to the Health & Social Care sector. We are looking for a high energy, motivated and inspirational assessor who will work with the Operations Manager, Quality lead & delivery team to deliver a high quality curriculum and ensure an outstanding training experience for all learners.
* The role involves supporting, training, and assessing health and social care learners providing both on and off the job learning as they progress through their programme. Key responsibilities include;
* Assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to level 5.
* Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English up to level 2.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners to develop the identified knowledge, skills and behaviours and complete their programme on time.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / contact, quality paperwork and general administration.
* Work to learner review and completion timescales.
* To attend and participate in standardisation and training events
* Contribute to the annual SAR and support identified Quality Improvement Plans.
* Participate in regular professional development
Essential Criteria
· Experience of delivery within the required area of training
· Experience of Work Based Learning
· Experience of Award Body practices
· CAVA Qualification or equivalent qualification
· Assessor experience
· ESW Communication Level 2
· ESW Application of Number Level 2
· Occupational experience within the route ways delivering
· Apprenticeship delivery experience with the route ways delivering
· Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
