**Care practitioner (Day)**
Plas Dyffryn Residential Home forms part of Ansa Care Concept. It is a progressive modern thinking family run organisation that provides Residential and Day Care following the principles of "Home Life", a Code of Practice for Residential Care, "Homes Are For Living”. We strive continually to meet and surpass the standards within the Well Being Act 2014 and the Regulations and Inspections of Social Care Wales Act 2016. Our mission is to provide high standards of care to the elderly so as to meet individual needs, thus ensuring an enriched quality of life unique to clients’ own characteristics.
We are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated care practitioners to join are dynamic and hard working, friendly team.
As a Care Practitioner at Plas Dyfrynn, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our residents. You will provide assistance and support to service users who require care in a residential setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Attend to all residents’ personal care.
Monitor health and wellbeing of all residents.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Depending on qualification and training you will also be required to:
Administer medication and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
Document residents’ care activities in care records.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement Resident care plans.
**Qualifications**:
Level 2 or 3 (NVQ or equivalent) in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
We are now accepting unqualified applicants who are wanting to start a career in Health & Social Care. Unqualified applicants must be willing to commence a NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and complete within 12-18 months.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion, patience, and empathy for the elderly.

Long service commitment bonus scheme paid at 3, 8 15 and 25 years.
£100-£250 refer a friend bonus scheme.
Ongoing Learning with nationally recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Health & Social Care, as well as other qualifications and training, allowing for genuine career progression and development opportunities.
Subsidised lunch available daily for staff working 8-5.
Free uniform.
**Job Types**: Full-Time, Part-Time, Permanent
**Part-Time hours**: 18 - 29 hours per week
**Full-Time hours**: 30 - 40 hours per week
**Salary**: £12-13.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. (reviewed annually and regularly monitored)
