In the role of Digital Technology Business Relationship Manager, you will be the bridge between our business stakeholders and our global digital technology teams, ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and successful implementation of digital solutions.
KEY responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and technology needs. Act as a liaison between business units and global digital technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Work with business and cross-functional teams on strategic directional roadmap for your operating unit area focusing on adding value to the local operating unit businesses. Solution Development Collaborate with internal technology teams to deliver digital solutions that align with business goals. Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies and trends to enhance the organization's digital capabilities. Communication and Reporting Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to business stakeholders and leadership. Prepare and present reports on the impact of digital initiatives on business performance. Risk Management Identify potential risks and issues related to digital projects and work with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies. Support the compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE A Digital Technology Business Relationship Manager requires a combination of technical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Business Acumen Understanding of Business Processes: Ability to comprehend and articulate business objectives, processes, and challenges to effectively align digital solutions with organizational goals to drive value for the organization. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry landscape, market trends, and competitors to provide valuable insights for decision-making. Communication Skills Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, department heads, and end-users. Clear Communication: Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Proficiency Digital Technology Knowledge: A solid understanding of digital technologies, such as cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to the organization's objectives. Solution Architecture: Ability to work with technology teams to design solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, security, and efficiency. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Problem Resolution: Capability to address challenges and obstacles in a proactive and efficient manner to ensure project success. Leadership and Collaboration Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including technology professionals, business analysts, and project managers. Influence and Leadership: Ability to lead without direct authority, influencing teams and stakeholders toward common objectives. Risk Management Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactive identification of potential risks related to digital projects and the ability to develop and implement mitigation strategies. Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards to ensure that digital initiatives align with legal and regulatory requirements. Continuous Learning and Innovation Adaptability to Change: Willingness to stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices. Innovative Thinking: A mindset that encourages exploring innovative solutions and applying new technologies to drive business value.
