A large and diverse Specialist school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role: Competitive salary with opportunities for development Full-time, long-term position Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role Work with Specialist school students with SEN and complex learning needs Sociable hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Assist with both classroom support and small group/1:1 intervention Gain valuable experience in SEN education, ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Social Work, or Speech and Language Therapy Work closely with experienced SEN professionals to deliver tailored learning strategies Based in a supportive and dynamic Manchester Specialist school Previous experience in education, sports coaching, childcare, social care or SEN is desirable.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing in-class support, assisting with differentiated learning activities, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where students can reach their full potential.
You will also work with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, offering tailored support that addresses their specific challenges, whether academic or behavioural.
