Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps, to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a talent in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Each Team Member is expected to act as an internal consultant and drive a strong continuous improvement culture across the business on any process/system improvements and changes.
The role will include but is not limited to: Design and Development: Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to automate repetitive tasks and integrate various systems.
Design, build, and customise Power Apps to meet business requirements and improve user experience.
Integration and Deployment: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services like SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
Work with APIs and data connectors to integrate third-party applications and services into Power Platform solutions.
Deploy and configure Power Apps and Power Automate solutions in production environments.
Maintenance and Support: Monitor and maintain existing automation solutions to ensure their ongoing performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes to minimise downtime and improve solution efficiency.
Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring smooth operation of the automated processes.
Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, continuous improvement specialists and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
Document workflows, processes, and custom code to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Train team members and end-users on the use of Power Platform solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform.
Propose and implement enhancements to existing solutions based on Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's best practices in automation.
Candidate Profile: Experience: Proven experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate and Power Apps.
Experience integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365) and third-party applications.
Working knowledge of development principles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating and managing Power Automate flows (cloud and desktop).
Expertise in building Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps) with customizations.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualisation (optional).
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Knowledge of Python/JavaScript or other programming languages to enhance automation capabilities (optional) Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
