We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Order Clerk to join our dynamic team and contribute to our procurement processes.
Role Summary: The Purchase Order Clerk will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of furniture, accessories, lighting, and other required items.
The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail to ensure orders are placed accurately and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Raise and process purchase orders for furniture, accessories, lighting, and other items required for all projects.
Maintain accurate records of orders, suppliers, and deliveries.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate prices, and track shipments.
Ensure all purchases align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with the design and project management teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
Resolve any issues with delayed or incorrect deliveries promptly.
Support the accounts team with invoice matching and payment queries related to procurement.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the interior design or related industry.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software or systems.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with furniture, lighting, and accessories suppliers is advantageous.
