London, United Kingdom Amazon TA Full time
The Global Fleet & Products (GFP) team within Amazon Last Mile Logistics is looking for a data savvy Program Manager to own our European idle fleet inventory and redeployment performance analytics, which is the very starting point of our physical supply chain efficiency. At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One experience that we’re constantly improving is how we fulfill and deliver orders right to the customer's doorstep. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class delivery experiences through the introduction of innovative new products and services in the Last Mile Delivery space. Fleet is a highly visible program (internally and externally) with exciting capacity and availability challenges requiring constant supply chain agility and efficiency improvements. This is an interesting opportunity to have a key role in the rapidly growing Amazon Logistics organization and work backwards from an ambitious North Star to deliver the right vehicle, at the right condition, at the right time, to the right DSP.
Within our fleet supply chain, the Redeployment process consists in collecting, inspecting and refurbishing vehicles formerly operated by Delivery Service Providers (DSP) and delivering the vans again to a new or expanding DSP. The Program Manager will be responsible for driving compliance, quality/accuracy and automation for our redeployment inventory. This is critical in order to build a single source of truth input to be consumed for our planning cycles, downstream deployment operations and cost control.

Key job responsibilities
Starting from a current state where the Fleet Delivery & Redeployment team consumes an array of reports from our Fleet Management Company (FMC) partners provided at country level, the Program Manager will lead change towards a standardized and centralized reporting at VIN level, and will work towards metrics alignment and integration to our worldwide fleet reporting tools, inclusive of data ingestion, validation and publication in dashboards to support planning and operational decisions. It also includes cost controlling activities in partnership with our Central Operations team and Finance business partners, to monitor actual vs planned recurring and non-recurring costs of vehicles within the redeployment cycle.
The program manager will directly impact key metrics related to i) on-time deployment / collections, ii) Turn around Time per redeployment process segments (collection to inspection, inspection to repair completion, delivery instruction to actual delivery), iii) quality escalations / vehicles off road, iv) customer satisfaction, v) cost deviations.
This is a pan-European role involving both deep analytical skills and interactions with both external (FMC central and local teams) and internal (fleet scheduling, central operations, finance) stakeholders. You need to be comfortable handling highly complex relationships with external stakeholders and coordinating multiple internal Amazon teams to achieve your goals. An ideal candidate will be analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have sufficient proficiency in data manipulation and data architecture to move forward with autonomy.

A day in the life
Some of the key job functions of this role are:

• Owns internal EU and WW GFP business review data consolidation and deck preparation
• Leads reporting consolidation effort, sets data validation mechanisms, defines automation entitlement and raises change requests to support business needs
• Supports Redeployment operations by enabling FMC performance monitoring against contractual SLAs
• Supports forward-looking delivery planning with reliable stock report and performance metrics
• Collaborates with worldwide teams (GFP Analytics specifically) to build innovative solutions such as Amazon Asset Platform inventory
• Owns cost controllership and reconciliation activities related to a fleet of 30k vans across 9 countries , liaising with internal and external finance and leadership teams

About the team
The Fleet Delivery and Redeployment team is one of the six Fleet Procurement and Capacity teams within EU Global Fleet & Products (GFP). We are responsible for the physical supply chain of all fleet programs (branded vans & cargo bikes, rentals). Our north star is to build a lean and unified supply chain for fleet programs, with standardized processes and communications, to provide a seamless experience and pick up/deliver the right deliver, from/to the right DSP, at the right time, in the right condition.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience in aggregating information and communicating effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid ownership and deep dive capabilities
• Comfortable with communicating and liaising with senior leadership
• Great analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions.
• Proficiency in excel and capacity to handle SQL queries
• Comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and jump in if needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• MBA or Masters in in a related field
• Experience working with distributed teams, often in different regions
• Proven ability to manage complex supply chain or distribution operations with multiple internal and external actors.
• A record of accomplishment in delivering results in a scrappy, ever-growing environment.
• Fluent English is required; in other European languages will be a plus
