About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fleet Performance Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Fleet team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving fleet performance, focusing on customer impact, fleet uptime, and fleet financial performance within our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet downtime performance, working closely with vendors and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with the finance team to manage fleet financial performance, including annual budgeting and quarterly financial updates.

- Analyze drivers of financial performance and develop projects to address identified issues.

- Model asset-level total cost of ownership to optimize fleet operations.

About the Team

As part of the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team, you will be part of a diverse and dynamic group that plays a critical role in our success. Our team uses air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to ensure Amazon's transport runs at maximum efficiency.

The Fleet team within ATS manages Amazon's 10,500+ trailers and trucks, aiming to make it the safest and most reliable fleet on the road. This role will contribute to maximizing fleet uptime through effective maintenance vendor management.

Requirements

- A degree in a relevant field

- Experience in program or project management

- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements

- Intermediate-level Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

- Master's degree in a relevant field

- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SQL
