The University of London is seeking a skilled Commercial & Contracts Manager to oversee third-party service contracts related to student accommodation and summer lettings. Reporting to the Director of Residential Services, the successful candidate will manage relationships with service providers, ensuring contract compliance and resolving issues. Regular audits will be conducted to monitor performance, safety, and compliance. They will collaborate with internal teams and partners to address complaints and enhance service delivery.

The Commercial & Contracts Manager will also lead summer lettings contract negotiations, explore new revenue opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships, while staying informed on industry trends and legislative changes.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience in contract management, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance, ideally coming from a higher education institution, student accommodation provider, or property management organisation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills are required, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
