Lazer Lamps is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of aftermarket LED lighting products for the Passenger Car, Commercial Vehicle, Motorsport, and Industrial sectors. Producing market-leading products, we design, build, and test on-site at our UK manufacturing facilities. Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, in this role you will be responsible for driving growth of our business specifically across the UK, Canada, Asia, and South America. You will immediately take ownership of established customer relationships, working to quickly establish a rapport which yields greater collaboration and ultimately sales growth. You will also use your knowledge and experience to identify and execute business development strategies which contribute to incremental sales growth, with new partners.
Responsibilities:
· Establish excellent rapport and understanding with existing customers, supporting them to deliver higher sales.
· Research and identify new business opportunities, aligned to the company’s short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives.
· Using gap analysis to identify sectors under-represented within our existing distribution network.
· Identify prospective clients and develop the leads into sales, managed through (Prospect) CRM software.
· Present weekly to the Sales and Marketing Director on Account Management and Business Development tasks.
· Convert quoted projects into orders using professional sales techniques.
· Negotiate prices where appropriate, within the company’s pricing structure.
· Work closely with internal sales support, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the best customer experience across all aspects of our business.
· Write presentations and training material to up-skill customers for re-selling B2C.
· Contribute to ongoing product development considering own experience and knowledge, coupled with key customer feedback.
Experience and Attributes:
· Industry Experience: Proven experience managing B2B resale accounts in a related sector.
· Value Selling: Experience in value selling is highly desirable.
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
· Travel: Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally (up to 30%) to attend events and meet key customers.
· Self-motivation: Ability to work independently and proactively.
· Strategic Engagement: Comfortable engaging with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
· Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and Preferred Experience
· Essential: Experience managing B2B resale accounts preferably within an automotive related sector, along with strategic engagement with senior leadership.
· Preferred: Background in value selling, and knowledge of LED lighting and associated technologies.
