In the UK, we are currently looking for a General Manager – Business Development (Contract Logistics) to join our Business Development Team.


The role will require frequent travel throughout the UK with some flexibility for remote working.


We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Lead to drive the growth of our Contract Logistics business unit. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to expand our client base, drive revenue growth, and build lasting partnerships. This senior role is ideal for a strong leader with proven expertise in contract logistics and a passion for driving commercial success.


You will be required to:


  • Develop and implement business development strategies to meet sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients, tailoring solutions to their needs.
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring terms align with company goals.
  • Establish competitive pricing strategies to drive profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service execution and high client satisfaction.
  • Provide insights through regular sales performance reporting using CRM and marketing tools.
  • Represent Noatum at industry events to boost brand visibility and network with potential clients.


About you:


  • Extensive experience in business development within contract logistics and global logistics.
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in supply chain management, warehouse management systems, and related technologies.
  • Ability to develop innovative business solutions and deliver value to clients.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
