About this role:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and strategically selling sponsorships into Evanta conference portfolios. This involves building relationships with sales and marketing professionals at all levels of an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure net new business to support Evanta's growth through sponsorship sales.
- Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline to ensure quota attainment.
- Develop strong relationships with internal sales teams to close multi-market account opportunities.
- Identify key decision-makers and elevate influence to determine client priorities and execute on those priorities through sponsorship sales.
- Travel monthly to meet with prospects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in information technology sales.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative solutions that provide marketing decision support to global organizations.
- Knowledge of C-level executives' issues and business buying centers.
- Solid industry-specific and account knowledge.
- Ability to travel to Evanta programs, client meetings, and competitive conferences.
