Business Growth Strategist

The Business Development Manager Role:
This role involves hunting net new opportunities and strategically selling sponsorships into Evanta's conference portfolios through the acquisition of new business.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect and secure net new business to support Evanta through sponsorship sales; build relationships with sales and marketing professionals at all levels of an organization
- Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline to ensure quota attainment
- Develop strong relationships with internal sales teams to close multi-market account opportunities
- Identify decision makers and elevate influence to determine client priorities and execute on those priorities through sponsorship sales
- Travel monthly to meet with prospects
- Minimum 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience; preferably information technology sales experience
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative solutions for global organizations
- Knowledge of C-level heads of Sales and Marketing
- Understanding of business buying centers
- Solid industry-specific and account knowledge
- Ability to travel to conferences, client meetings, and competitive events
- Competitive base salary ($95,000 - $110,000 per year) with uncapped commission potential
