Express Recruitment’s Executive Search division are proud to be working with a leading contract hire industry who have ambitious growth plans over the coming years. They are looking to recruit a Head of Sales to play a vital role in strategically guiding the sales strategy and driving new business.


Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will take accountability for evolving and executing the business sales plan, including managing and motivating a team of 11 to achieve desired outcomes. Experience in similar strategic role is required, having worked in industries such as rental, hire or capital equipment leasing. The role is based from their Leicestershire head office, with travel required throughout the Midlands.


There is an excellent benefits package on offer including a basic salary of up to £80k, a bonus of 25% of basic salary, company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus stats and excellent training opportunities. The successful candidate will be presented with the opportunity to become a board member in the near future, following initial objectives being successfully achieved.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Effectively evolve and formulate the business sales strategy in order to ensure customer retention and maximise business growth
  • Lead a team of sales professionals through a motivational and engaging management style to deliver results by developing relationships with existing customer accounts and winning new business
  • Manage and develop relationships at C-Suite level, building on networking links to keep updated with industry developments
  • Develop and grow the sales team through leading coaching sessions and effectively recruiting new hires


Skills &Experience


  • Experience in similar role working in a relevant industry to contract hiring
  • Proven track record of delivering sales strategy and successfully managing a sales team
  • Commercially focused with a willingness to go above and beyond
  • Full UK Driving Licence
