Head of Advertising Sales

We are looking for a **HEAD OF ADVERTISING SALES** to join our clients sales and marketing team. Our client is one of the leading sporting venues in the East Midlands.
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, self-motivated, and has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The Head of advertising sales is responsible for identifying and cultivating new advertising opportunities with local and national companies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Signing up new partners
- Organising and prioritising incoming leads and arranging calls and meetings.
- Conducting sales calls for potential partnerships
- Monitoring the entire sales pipeline and maintaining records.
- Recognising potential partnerships, contacting prospects, and scheduling calls
- Overseeing the whole sales process from lead to the contract signed
- Liaising with the delivery team and wider stakeholders.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on performance and future opportunities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
- Previous business-to-business sales experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience using a CRM system
- Ideally an interest in / understanding of the sporting market
- Ideally an interest in / understanding of digital marketing
**Relevant experience**:
- Business to Business sales
- New business sales
- Product pitches and demos
- Manage relationships with existing clients and prospective clients
- Maintain current client accounts and identify new opportunities
- Manage sales pipeline and identify new prospects
- Create marketing materials and direct all marketing efforts toward customers
- Oversee the sales process from start to finish including closing the sale, maintaining positive reviews, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience
**Experience**:
- 1+ years in sales & customer service experience required. (preferred)
- 1+ years of management experience required. (preferred)
- 1 + years Event and hospitality experience. (preferred)
