Decarbonisation Project Assistant

£24,000 - £28,000pa

About the Role:

LASER Energy are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Decarbonisation Project Assistant to support the delivery of carbon-saving energy projects, including LED lighting, solar PV, and renewable energy solutions.

You will play a key administrative role in managing projects, ensuring accurate quotations, maintaining project documentation, and working with contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery. You will also monitor project progress, manage warranties, and support the Decarbonisation Project Managers in day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration: Prepare and manage quotations, maintain project files, and track financials.

Procurement & Supplier Management: Work with suppliers and contractors, ensuring accurate ordering and timely delivery of equipment.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements for projects, including documentation and due diligence.

Project Support: Assist in project planning, progress monitoring, and resolving any issues, including warranty claims.

Process Improvement: Develop and improve systems to streamline project delivery and improve customer satisfaction.

Financial Monitoring: Track project budgets and liaise with finance teams to manage project costs and risks.
What we need from you:

GCSEs (Maths and English) or equivalent

High computer literacy and a strong attention to detail.

Experience in administration (preferably in a construction or trade environment) would be desirable,

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong internal and external relationships.
