**What you can expect as an Facilities Assistant**:

- Salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience

As our new Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for making sure an efficient facilities and maintenance service is maintained.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Work closely with all PPM contractors ensuring all activities are completed safely and in a timely manner and that the PPM schedule is updated.
- Support the Team Leader with day-to-day Facilities activities.
- Ensure all general maintenance duties are completed and documented within prescribed timescales.
- Support Reception in managing all car parking arrangements and requirements.
- Responsible for the RAMS process (incl. assessment of and filing)
- Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and legislation that affect the business services provided by Cabot.
- Support with maintaining and promoting Health, Safety (and Wellness) standards and practices.
- Support with Cabot monthly and Annual H&S Audits carrying out any remedial actions.
- Support with Risk Assessments and any remedial actions required.
- Support the DSE assessment process with furniture relocations or adjustments etc. when required.
- Support with the Accident, Incident & Near Miss Reporting process carrying out remedials works or liaising with contractors on building/office furniture faults.
- To liaise with the Landlord/Agents for all regular maintenance and ad-hoc works as required
- Requirement for Ad hoc out of office hours for contractor works and/or project requirements
- Assist with any adhoc requirements and/or projects

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Previous facilities maintenance experience preferred.
- Working with third party clients/customers preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and computer skills (Excell/Spreadsheets/ Word/Outlook)
