Job Description:

Morson Talent is recruiting a candidate with experience in facilities management to work as an Estates Assistant for our client, who specializes in composites. This role will be based at two sites in Bristol.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a background in facilities management. As an Estates Assistant, you will be a key member of our Estates team, responsible for delivering essential services and supporting core business operations across our various sites. Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day activities, manage building operations, and lead Estates projects to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient working environment.

In this role, you will oversee everything from space management and building maintenance to contractor coordination and compliance with health and safety standards. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the functionality of our facilities, and you will play an active role in project management, ensuring that all Estates projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As a critical part of our team, you will also focus on sustainability initiatives, emergency planning, and continuous improvement processes across our estate. If you are ready to bring your expertise in facilities and project management to a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing exceptional customer service and interacting with building users and stakeholders
  • Managing building operations, including space management, maintenance, and repair
  • Coordinating with contractors and external partners to enhance facility functionality
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, construction management)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
