Facilities Team Leader

Have you got experience leading a team? Do you have experience working in Facilities? If you’ve answered yes, then you could be our next Facilities Team Leader working in our Kings Hill office, ME19 4UA.

As our new Facilities Team Leader you’ll become part of the facilities team working with our Facilities Assistants to support with the daily activities including reception duties, carrying out operational Health and Safety duties and organising maintenance work as required.
You’ll need great communication as you will engage with external suppliers managing quotes and assessments in addition to sourcing new local contractors and liaising with existing contractors. On occasions you may be requires to work outside of standard office hours for contractor works or project requirements. Further responsibilities include:
- Processing the Facilities purchase orders through Workday
- Maintain the out of hours security requirements
- Collate and compile SECR and ESOS data in accordance with timelines agreed with the Company’s partners
- Co-ordinate monthly and Annual H&S audits and complete any actions required
- Complete Risk Assessments and execute actions
- Manage the DSE requirements including the processes and scheduling
- Support with audits and completion of risk assessments
- Manage First Aiders, and Fire Marshalls by arranging training and ensuring renewal of certificates
- Manage the Accident Reporting suite (including reporting to the HSE with MBHS where appropriate
- Maintain and produce all regulatory reporting requirements to the Senior Facilities Manager
What we need from you?
Experience working in Facilities or Maintenance would be beneficial but not essential. You’ll also need:
- Proven great communication skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Computer experience in all Microsoft365 programmes i.e Excel, Outlook and Word
- Team Leadership skills
