We are looking for a motivated natural leader to support our colleagues and people we support as a Deputy Manager in our including West region, including Dorchester, Weymouth & Crewkerne. ​



You need a Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.

A day in the life of a Deputy Manager would include:

* Providing support, guidance and mentoring to staff within the service whether that be with supervisions, 1-2-1 or weekly team briefings

* Onboarding new starters to ensure they understand the role and are equipped to deliver high quality support

* Ensuring we have efficient rotas in place to suit the needs of the people we support

* Maintaining care and support plans are consistent and up to date

* Supporting the service leaders to operate on budget

* Working with a clear understanding of CQC compliance

* Providing on call support to colleagues on a rota basis

* Making sure the services are well maintained / working with our health and safety and maintenance teams where appropriate



​Our ideal candidate would have:

* NVQ level 3 in social care/management (preferred)

* Autism qualification (preferred)

* Reliability and commitment to delivering best practice

* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and report writing skills

* A readiness to work un-social hours on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep-in duties in line with service requirements

* Experience with autism and behaviour that challenges
