About the Role

At CountryCourt, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at Selwood House in Charlton Down, Dorchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager across all aspects of home management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating, and homely environment for residents and their visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff.
  • Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
  • Responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans.
  • Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and experience of working with people with dementia.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 28 days annual leave, pension contributions, and enhanced bank holiday rates.
