Job Responsibilities

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Facilities Assistant to join the team located in Syngenta, Whittlesford, with the requirement to be flexible to travel to the Granta Park office in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will need a can-do attitude and be responsible for being the face of CBRE and Syngenta for the day-to-day facilities operations of the site ensuring an exceptional customer service experience, whilst also being the point of contact for the site key stakeholders.

You will also provide preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in an efficient and timely manner to ensure minimum disruption to building and to ensure all site QHSE rules and regulations are adhered to at all times at our client's sites.

Be the first point of contact for the key stakeholders on site.
Ensure exceptional customer service experience whilst also managing all preferred suppliers.
Be the point of contact for all site visitors and suppliers.
Ownership to ensure site is always kept clean and tidy, both internally and externally.
Undertake planned maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections on equipment issued via the CAFM systems
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Complete Syngenta and CBRE site inductions for staff and contractors
Ensure Authority to Work (ATW) are issued.
Inputting and management of the Hazard reporting.
Assist with carrying out Contractor Review (OP63)
Assist with carrying out site reviews including building Inspections (OP61)
Sub-Contractor logbook management- ensuring all documentation is current and up to date.
Management of E-Logbooks (site specific)
Support with audit management (Internal & External)
Assist in the investigation and management of incidents
Complete statutory compliance requirements (Not limited to)
Weekly Fire Alarm Testing
Weekly Tap Flushing
Monthly Tap Temperatures
Monthly Emergency Light Testing
Action Helpdesk Requests and complete service reports and job closures
In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities that may be individually definedSkills Required

Good level of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
Full clean driving license
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of an integrated site team
Basic Maintenance Skills, for example but not limited to:
Painting and decorating
Tap repairs
Lamp replacements
Carpentry
General repairs
